I run Business Simplified on ClickFunnels 2.0. This blog, the landing pages, the email broadcasts and the booking calendar all sit on it. So this ClickFunnels 2.0 review UK owners can actually use comes from someone paying the bill, not someone earning a commission.
You've seen the ads. Somebody standing next to a hired Lamborghini telling you one funnel changed their life. Then you look at the pricing page, see it's all in dollars, and wonder whether any of this applies to a UK service business turning over £400k.
Fair question. Most ClickFunnels reviews are written by American affiliates for American info product sellers. They don't mention VAT, GDPR, exchange rates or what it's like using it for a consultancy, an agency or a trade business in the UK.
In this blog I'll tell you who ClickFunnels 2.0 is for, what it costs (in dollars, and what that means for you), the honest pros and cons from using it every week, how it compares with HubSpot, who should NOT use it, and my verdict.
My verdict, up front: for a UK service business that's serious about building its own lead flow, ClickFunnels 2.0 is worth it. For a business that just wants a brochure website, it isn't.
I want to be clear about what I've used, so you can weigh my opinion properly. Business Simplified runs on ClickFunnels 2.0 for four things:
What I haven't done is run a big ecommerce store or a membership site with thousands of members on it, so I won't pretend to review those parts.

ClickFunnels publishes its pricing in US dollars:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | $97 | $970 |
| Scale | $197 | $1,970 |
| Optimize | $297 | $2,970 |
| Dominate | See pricing page | $5,997 |
Prices change, so check current pricing on the official page before you commit. The plans differ in what's included, and I'd rather you read that from ClickFunnels than from a blog that might be out of date.
So how much is ClickFunnels in pounds? It depends on the exchange rate on the day you're billed and what your bank or card provider charges for paying in dollars. Your monthly cost will wobble a little. Not a deal breaker, but worth knowing if you like tidy numbers in your management accounts.
On VAT: because it's priced in USD from a US company, the VAT treatment isn't something I'd guess at in a blog. Check what's applied at checkout and ask your accountant how to handle it.
One small win: paying annually on the first three plans costs ten times the monthly price, so you get twelve months for the price of ten. If you're confident you'll stick with it, that's a decent saving.

The Growth Engine, our survey of 186 UK business owners, shows why 77% still win most new business themselves, and how to build the Market, Message and Machine that a tool like ClickFunnels can run for you.
Before you add it all up, a separate website builder, email tool, booking tool, page builder and blog platform each cost something and each need connecting. Having them in one place means fewer things break and fewer passwords to forget.
Most website builders are designed to look nice. ClickFunnels is designed to move someone from interested to booked or bought. For a business that needs leads, that focus matters.
When I want a new landing page for a webinar or a whitepaper, I'm not waiting on a developer. That speed is worth a lot to a founder who needs to test ideas.
Covered above. Not a huge issue, but it adds a little admin and a little uncertainty.
The style of marketing ClickFunnels is known for leans towards the American way of doing things. Bold claims, big promises, lots of exclamation marks. You can tone it down, and you should, because most British buyers run a mile from that kind of copy.
It holds your contacts and can run simple pipelines, but if you've got a sales team managing complex B2B deals, a dedicated CRM is built for that job. More on that below.
It's easy to build a page. It takes longer to build a joined up system with emails, tags and automations that all talk to each other. Budget some time, or some help.
I use both, for different businesses, so this is a question I get a lot.
At SPOR we use HubSpot. It's a B2B business with a sales team, longer deal cycles and lots of people touching each deal. A proper CRM is the right tool. I've written a full HubSpot Starter review if that sounds like you.
At Business Simplified we use ClickFunnels 2.0. It's content led. People read the blog, download the whitepaper, get the emails and book a call. The pages and the email matter more than a complex sales pipeline.
The simple rule I use: if your growth depends on a sales team managing deals, start with a CRM. If it depends on content, offers and pages turning strangers into booked calls, ClickFunnels makes a lot of sense. If you're torn, my guide to the best CRM for a small UK business goes deeper on the CRM side.

This is the question I'd want answered as a UK business, so let me be straight. When you collect people's details through any tool, you're the data controller. That responsibility sits with you, not the software. Read ClickFunnels' data processing agreement, make sure your privacy policy and consent wording are right, and get advice if you're unsure. Don't take a blog's word for it, including mine.
For the right business, yes. My ClickFunnels 2.0 review UK verdict is that it's a strong, practical tool for founder-led service businesses that want to build their own lead flow. It runs the blog, the landing pages, the email and the bookings for Business Simplified, and I'd choose it again.
But here's the honest bit. The software doesn't fix the reason most UK businesses stall. In The Growth Engine research, 86% of owners had hit one of three growth ceilings (Business Simplified survey of 186 UK business owners, 2026). None of them were stuck because they had the wrong page builder. They were stuck because the system depended on them. I explain that properly in why 98% of UK businesses never reach £1m.
Build the system first: who you serve, what you say, and the lead generation machine that runs without you. Then ClickFunnels becomes the place that machine lives.

ClickFunnels prices in US dollars, starting at $97 a month or $970 a year for Launch. What you pay in pounds depends on the exchange rate and your card provider's fees. Check current pricing on the official page.
It's priced in USD, so check what's applied at checkout and ask your accountant how to treat it. I wouldn't rely on a blog for VAT advice.
It can replace a lot. I run the Business Simplified blog, landing pages, emails and bookings on it. If you have a sales team managing complex deals, a dedicated CRM is still the better tool for that part.
As a UK business you're the data controller, so GDPR compliance is your responsibility. Check ClickFunnels' data processing agreement, get your privacy policy and consent wording right, and take advice if needed.
Yes, if you have a clear offer and you'll feed it content. It's built to turn interest into booked calls. If you just want a brochure site, it's overkill.
Before you pick a tool, build the system it runs. The Growth Engine shares what 186 UK owners told us, the five growth profiles, and how Squaredot went from £800k to £1.2m in three months once the system was in place.

Growth shouldn’t depend on you chasing every lead. Business Simplified uses real data to fix your pipeline, increase leads and improve sales, so you can lead your business instead of being trapped running it.
